Liam Gallagher ‘loves’ Noel really

LIAM GALLAGHER has ceased hostilities with his brother and ex-Oasis bandmate Noel — and even admitted he’d ‘prefer’ it if the band got back together.
Despite a long-running Twitter campaign against his older brother since the band split in 2009, Liam admitted he’d had a change of heart in the wake of the Manchester bombing last week.
Explaining why he sent Noel an out-of-character 50th birthday greeting last weekend, he first tried to claim it was down to his mum.
‘Well, me mam did tell me to do it,’ he told Johnny Vaughan on Radio X. ‘Nah she didn’t. I swear to God she didn’t.
‘Nah, I just woke up, you know — with all the stuff that went on in Manchester — I woke up and I just thought: “You know what? You know, I’m going there. Happy Birthday.”‘

But Liam, 44, couldn’t resist a dig at his older brother, saying: ‘Plus I wanted to remind everyone he’s an old fart now!’
Joking aside, Liam insisted that he does still love his brother.
‘He’s my brother, man, and I love him, you know what I mean? As much as we get into all the tittle and tattle and that, you know, I wish him well, man.’

It was then that Liam made the suprising admission that he wished he was still in Oasis.
‘Yeah I prefer that. I mean, listen, I mean I prefer to be in Oasis. Let’s get that… We know that. I prefer to be in a band, without a doubt,’ he said.
‘But that’s not happening, so you can’t sit at home twiddling your thumbs, do you know what I mean? So you’ve got to get out and do what you’ve got to do, you know what I mean? I’m not going to get a job.’
Liam is currently plugging new solo album As You Were and Twitter fans are already loving new single Wall Of Glass.
One wrote: ‘What a tune, LG is back big time!’, while another tweeted: ‘Banging track can’t wait for the album. Top drawer stuff.’
