Letter reveals why Tupac Shakur dumped Madonna

MADONNA was dumped by Tupac Shakur for being white, according to a letter coming up for auction in the US this month.

The 26-year-old rapper — killed in a drive-by shooting — dated Madge, now 58, for three years before his death in 1996.

In a letter he sent her from prison, Tupac said: ‘For you to be seen with a black man wouldn’t in any way jeopardize your career. If anything it would make you seem that much more open and exciting… [but] I felt due to my “image” I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was.’
