Lenny Kravitz’s praise for his American women

LENNY KRAVITZ came out batting for the women in his life, including Madonna and his actress daughter Zoe, as he blew fans away at a gig yesterday.
After hanging out with Madge at the recent MTV Video Music Awards, the American Woman rocker said jibes about her being overtly sexual at 60 are unfair.
‘A woman her age wants to get it too. There’s nothing wrong with that,’ he told GP at Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park.
He continued: ‘I don’t think it’s fair to put anybody down for their age. There’s so many cultures in the world where the elders are respected. What are you supposed to do? Stop?’
As for his own stage shockers, Kravitz said a stage flash in Sweden in 2015, when his pants split, ‘was an accident’.
‘If that was 20 years ago nobody would have seen it,’ he said of the gaffe.
The 54-year-old also praised ‘beautiful, amazing’ daughter Zoe, 29, who stars in Big Little Lies with Meryl Steep.
‘We were in LA a few months ago and she wanted to have a dinner party at my place and she walks in with Meryl,’ he recalled. ‘It’s so great for Zoe to be working with her. I am extremely proud.’
All Saints, Rita Ora and The Shires were also on the bill yesterday.
