Lana Del Rey’s making sure that a star is Børns

BØRNS credits Instagram for bagging him a dream duet with Lana Del Rey.

The 26-year-old American, real name Garrett Clark Borns, told Guilty Pleasures the pair bonded over their shyness while recording God Save Our Young Blood for his album Blue Madonna.

‘I think she’s a pretty private person, I’m also a private person,’ he said. ‘I’ve always been a big fan of Lana’s writing and her voice.’ Børns had noticed Del Rey’s appreciation for his music on Instagram.

‘I saw she was singing my songs in some of her videos, so there was curiosity on both ends about collaborating,’ he added.
