Lady Gaga hawks bright drinks for a better world

LADY GAGA has teamed up with Starbucks to sell a range of summery drinks in a bid to raise money for her Born This Way Foundation.
The ‘Cups Of Kindness’ beverages range from Matcha Lemonade, ‘a vibrant green drink made with finely ground Teavana matcha green tea’, to Violet, ‘sweet blackberries and tart hibiscus… swirled together with creamy coconutmilk’, Ombré Pink, a limey-cream concoction, and Pink, featuring ‘sweet strawberry flavors… with accents of passion fruit’.
Sadly for UK Gaga fans, the campaign is only running in the US and Canada, where 25 cents from each drink sold over the next week will be donated to Gaga’s youth well-being charity.
The Pokerface hitmaker said: ‘We’re healthier and happier when we live our lives with compassion and our communities are stronger when we treat one another with generosity and respect.
‘Born This Way Foundation and I are so excited to partner with Starbucks to help inspire positivity and love through the Cups Of Kindness collection. I adore the entire collection and I instantly fell in love with the Matcha Lemonade.’
Starbucks has promised to contribute a minimum of $250,000 (£197,000) to Gaga’s charity.
