Kylie’s pitch for a Glastonbury invite

KYLIE Minogue would like to get down and dirty in the mud — after dropping hints she wants to headline next year’s Glastonbury music festival.

The pop princess, 50, was due to perform there in 2005 but pulled out to undergo breast cancer treatment.

Kylie — who made a guest appearance during the Scissor Sisters’ Glasto 2010 set — said: ‘It would be amazing and emotional to stand there and do what I didn’t get to do all those years ago.’

She will play Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park on September 9, and has a UK arena tour planned later that month.
