Kylie consciously uncouples herself from Coldplay romance

KYLIE MINOGUE has denied she once dated Chris Martin on the sly.

Referring to a photo which emerged three years ago, showing the pair wandering round Westminster in the dead of night, Kylie, 49, said: ‘I was not trying to date Chris Martin! I’d just performed at Hyde Park, which he came to see, and we went for a walk.’

A year later, her engagement to Joshua Sasse came crashing down amid rumours the actor, 30, cheated on her.

Kylie says working on her upcoming album, Golden, got her out of that hole. ‘Making this album was a kind of saviour,’ she told a radio station in Oz. ‘I was quite fragile when I started on it.’
