Kevin Bacon: Six Degrees game made me feel like a joke

SOME people might be flattered to have a world-renowned game named after them — but for a long time that was not the case for Kevin Bacon.
The Footloose star has revealed that he felt Six Degrees Of Kevin Bacon — which challenges movie buffs to link the prolific star with any given actor in six steps or fewer — was ‘a joke at my expense’.
Once, he even refused to appear on TV with the college students who invented the game, saying, ‘I’m not f***ing doing that,’ he revealed to The Hollywood Reporter.
‘I hated it,’ he added, ‘because I was trying so hard to be a serious actor and all of a sudden I was, like, a parlour game.’
Now the I Love Dick star is older, more laidback and has proved himself as a serious actor, he’s more laidback about it.
‘I thought it was really a joke at my expense, you know?’ he said. ‘I don’t really feel that way anymore.’
