Kember: It’s not sex island… we fell in love

LOVE ISLAND winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies have defended the show on Good Morning Britain after presenter Piers Morgan compared it to ‘prostitution’.
The couple hit back after the host accused them of making money ‘for having sex on TV’. Kem, 21, and Amber, 20, (pictured) appeared on the show yesterday but weren’t able to confront the 52-year-old host as he is on holiday.
But fill-in presenter Eamonn Holmes, 57, reminded the reality TV stars of his comments telling them: ‘Piers doesn’t like you very much.’
‘We heard,’ said Amber, of North Wales, as hairdresser Kem, of Essex, added: ‘It’s not sex island. People went in and fell in love. We were not sleeping around, we were all in couples.’
But the couple will have a chance to confront Morgan, after landing jobs as GMB showbiz reporters.
They will cover for showbiz editor Richard Arnold later this month.
Meanwhile, the couple have revealed they are planning to hold three weddings — in Essex, Wales and Cyprus.
