Keeping it in the family is a no-no for Mabel

MABEL is spoilt for choice when it comes to collaboration options — because her mum is Neneh Cherry (below) and her dad is Massive Attack producer Cameron McVey.

But the Don’t Call Me Up singer, 23, who is also the niece of singer Eagle-Eye Cherry, refuses to hit the studio with the ’rents.

‘We keep family and work super separate. A collab would never happen,’ she said.

So much so, the olds have left her to her own devices when it comes to navigating fame.

‘The only thing they are concerned about is that I am happy. They are happy if I am. That’s their only advice,’ she told GP.
