Katy Perry’s Obama joke backfires

KATY PERRY put her foot in it again as she likened her hair going from black to blonde to president Barack Obama leaving office.

The singer, 32 who dropped new track Bon Appetit, said on an Instagram live video: ‘Oh, someone says, “I miss your old black hair.” Oh, really? Do you miss Barack Obama as well? Times change. Bye!’

Predicting the storm her comment whipped up she added: ‘I should leave now.’

One fan raged: ‘It makes it seem like she linking black hair to Barack cuz he black.’ Another said: ‘If you’re comparing your new hair to [Donald] Trump being in office then…’
