Katy Perry locks just amazing on red carpet return…

HAIR we go again — Katy Perry has gone back to black.

The pop star had been rocking a blonde pixie cut after famously buzzing off her luscious locks last year, following her split from on/off/on-again boyfriend Orlando Bloom.

But, in a blast from the past, the chart-topper, 33, showed off long dark tresses at the weekend.

The Swish Swish singer looked to be wearing a wig — unless, that is, she stumbled upon magic miracle growth shampoo.

Katy was certainly the mane attraction as she hit the red carpet in Los Angeles for TV show American Idol.

The talent contest judge dazzled in a floor-length red gown, complete with cape.

Earlier this month, it was revealed Perry would return to the panel for a second run. She teased that viewers could expect ‘bigger hair, better dresses and more obscenity’.
