Katy Perry ‘advertising for real friends’

KATY PERRY is looking for ‘real friends’ after an embarrassing foody faux pas.

The Chained To The Rhythm singer, who only last week announced her split from beau Orlando Bloom, took to Instagram with an unflattering shot of food caught in her teeth yesterday.

Captioning the image, she joked: ‘Currently taking applications for real friends who aren’t afraid to tell me there’s quinoa in my teeth.’

It’s possible Kate, who posed for numerous selfies while walking the red carpet at the iHeart Radio Music Awards, was just getting in there first before anyone else could comment on the red carpet blunder.

But she seems to be in a happy place right now, telling presenter Ryan Seacrest recently: ‘I’m 32 now and I feel great. I’m really accepting of myself and I’ve done a little work in that area and it’s really paying off because I’m having fun and feeling free.

‘I feel the most authentic I’ve ever been.’
