Kate Garraway forced to deny Jeremy Kyle affair

KATE GARRAWAY admitted it all ‘kicked off’ on the home front when she had to reassure her husband she wasn’t playing away with Piers Morgan’s stand-in Jeremy Kyle.

The pair have been getting friendly while co-hosting Good Morning Britain over the summer break — so much so that Kate admitted to ‘nearly kissing’ Kyle on air.

But it was when The Sun newspaper suggested she and Kyle might be having a fling that Kate had some explaining to do with hubby Derek Draper.

‘It’s taken me five days to calm down things at home,’ she said on today’s GMB.

‘[Derek] was like, “Are you actually having an affair?”‘

Jezza, meanwhile, laughed off the whole thing, saying: ‘Come on, it’s only a job.’

But Kate couldn’t resist teasing: ‘Could be a double bluff,’ before adding: ‘I’m only joking, I adore Derek, you know that.’
