Kanye West makes waves as ‘he quits Tidal’ in £2.2m row

KANYE WEST isn’t taking it Yeezy after firing up his feud with Jay Z and quitting the rapper’s streaming service.
The Gold Digger star has reportedly severed ties with Tidal after being left £2.2million out of pocket, reports TMZ.
Dad-of-two West is ‘unhappy’ at not being paid a bonus for bringing in 1.5million subscribers with last year’s The Life of Pablo album, the website claims.
The star’s lawyers are said to have issued a letter stating Tidal is in breach of contract and informed them West, 40, is terminating the deal.
Tidal is understood to have had an exclusive agreement with West and could sue if he joins another service. It’s the latest setback for the pair’s ‘bromance’ after Jay Z’s new album 4:44 features a track, Kill Jay Z, in which he disses West.
Jay Z, 47, also addresses whispers he cheated on wife Beyoncé — who aired the rumour on her record Lemonade. Producer No I.D. said Bey, 35, gave her approval. ‘Every song has to get past her ears,’ he said.
Rumours are rife, too, that the couple have called newborn twins Rumi and Sir after registering the names for trademark in the US — as they did with daughter Blue Ivy.
