Kanye identifies with the tragic designer Alexander McQueen

KANYE WEST has opened up about his own struggles with depression after watching a film about Alexander McQueen, the British designer who took his life at the age of 40.

West, 41, posted on Twitter: ‘I saw the Alexander McQueen documentary and I connected with his journey.’ Then, citing his own ongoing battles, he continued: ‘How to NOT kill yourself pt 1[:] Avoid being around people who make you want to kill yourself.’

He also said basketball was a good outlet for relief.
