Jon Hamm eager to take over Caped Crusader role

JON HAMM is ready to don Batman’s suit amid talk Ben Affleck is to quit his role as the Caped Crusader.

The Mad Men actor, 47, is a huge comic book fan and would love to take on the iconic movie role.

‘It depends on the script, what the story is, but I like the genre and I like when they’re done well,’ Hamm told US TV show In Depth.

Stressing that he had not been approached about the role, he admitted he had one worry. ‘I’d have to work out a lot, which I don’t love,’ he joked.
