Jennifer Lawrence has a crush on this boy wonder

TIMOTHÉE Chalamet was thrilled at the prospect he might run into Jennifer Lawrence at last night’s Oscars — following her admission she’ll be after him as soon as he can grow some proper stubble.

The baby-faced Call Me By Your Name actor dished out his response to J-Law’s recent full-on advance, in which she warned: ‘[I’m] buttering him up like a pig for slaughter.’

Revealing her crush for Chalamet, the Hunger Games star added: ‘I’m going to swing right in there as soon as he’s, like, 30.’

Before scooping best male lead at Oscar’s warm-up bash Film Independent Spirit Awards, the 22-year-old replied: ‘I don’t know if she said it exactly like that. As I’ve said before, she’s a total legend.’

Dressed more like a teenager, Chalamet told how he was charmed by the 27-year-old actress in his previous encounters with her. He added: ‘She’s an icon amongst young people where it’s tough to have a career at a young age.

‘She’s done that and then some… so what an honour.’

He added: ‘I’ve gotten to meet her a couple times. She’s awesome. She’s really, “This whole ride has been f***ing crazy.”’

Meanwhile, life is more than peachy for Chalamet — tipped to be Hollywood’s next Leonardo DiCaprio — after he joked about his X-rated scene involving the fruit in his acclaimed role in Call Me By Your Name.

Taking to the podium in Santa Monica, on Saturday, he quipped: ‘Two years ago, I could get away with doing a movie where I had sex with a peach because no one knew who I was. Now, I have to be a bit more careful.’
