Jen tackles Matt LeBlanc over Friends reunion snub

JENNIFER ANISTON is hoping to talk Matt LeBlanc into changing his mind after he dashed fans’ hopes of a Friends reunion.
The actress still nurses hopes of playing Rachel Green again. And, should she fail to persuade 51-year-old LeBlanc to join them, Jen has an idea for a spin-off with herself, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow as a new generation of 80s sitcom The Golden Girls.
LeBlanc, who played Joey Tribbiani, was asked earlier this year about a Friends reunion, but declared: ‘I would say definitely never… I don’t want to do it.’

Jen, 49, said: ‘I know Matt LeBlanc doesn’t want to be asked that question any more. But maybe we could talk him into it. Or we just give it some time and then Lisa, Courteney, and I could reboot The Golden Girls and spend our last years together on wicker furniture.’
She says her decade on Friends were the best years of her career. ‘Courteney and Lisa and I talk about it,’ she added. ‘I fantasise about it. It really was the greatest job I ever had. I don’t know what it would look like today, but you never know. So many shows are being successfully rebooted.’
However, she may quit showbiz following a string of bombshell admissions in InStyle magazine this week, where the twice-wed star blasted being seen as ‘damaged goods’ because she has no children.
Jen warned: ‘There have been moments when I would just love to get out of Dodge and move to Switzerland — or somewhere — and start anew. Just have this s*** behind me.’
