Jason rages at ‘racism’ of US airline

JASON DERULO claims he was a victim of ‘racism’ after air rage failed to get him off the ground.
The Talk Dirty singer ranted that he was treated like a ‘criminal’ by American Airlines on Wednesday in a row over his eight-strong entourage’s excess baggage.
After Derulo, 27, had boarded his flight from Miami to LA, an assistant back in the terminal called the star, saying they were being charged £3,000 for their 19 bags.
Derulo demanded that the plane taxi back to the gate as the captain radioed he ‘needed several passengers removed from the plane’.
The US R&B singer fumed in an Instagram video: ‘I get off the plane, 15 police officers waiting on me, like I’m a criminal. If I wasn’t Jason Derulo, I wouldn’t be here right now… I’d be in f***ing cuffs. It’s 100 per cent racial because the initial thought in people’s minds is “these hoodlums are causing problems”.’
When he allegedly arrived only 45 minutes before the flight, Derulo insisted his frequent flyers’ card meant unlimited baggage. He raged online: ‘I have experienced racial discrimination today at Miami airport!!!’
However, according to US reports, one American Airlines employee claimed the entourage ‘all smelled of marijuana and were starting to get aggressive’.
The airline confirmed the flight returned to the gate, adding: ‘A passenger elected to deplane… the passenger has been rebooked with his checked bags on a later flight.’
