Ivor good reason… but Stormzy won’t say why he’s left Twitter

STORMZY has mysteriously Shut Up shop on social media — hours after being tipped for yet another awards haul.

The 24-year-old grime star unexpectedly deleted his Twitter account yesterday, not even hanging about to send a celebratory tweet about his prestigious Ivor Novello nominations.

Stormzy is in the running for best album — Gang Signs & Prayer — and best contemporary song, Don’t Cry For Me (feat Raleigh Ritchie).

The disappearing act comes after his girlfriend Maya Jama, 23, apologised for the controversial race tweets she made as a teenager.

Stormzy finds out if he will be adding to his huge Brits haul when the Ivors are held on May 31.
