It’s stretching the truth! Chrissy Teigen lays into body-shaming
CHRISSY TEIGEN might be a supermodel, but she is no fan of the Insta-sham culture and is happy to show off her stretch marks.
The mother-of-two, married to John Legend, 39, said: ‘There’s so much more than these fake-ass Instagram people. People get FOMO, or they feel bad about their bodies, and I get it. If I feel bad seeing certain things, what about that girl who has no connection to this industry? It makes me sad.’
Chrissy, 33, mum to Luna, two, and six-month-old Miles, is proud of her stretch marks. ‘Everyone photoshops them out,’ she said. ‘It’s insane. And I don’t want anyone to feel like they’re the only ones… who’s to say it’s even a flaw?’
Starring on the cover of January’s Elle, Chrissy told the magazine that while she is still trying to lose baby fat, she is annoyed by Legend’s own workouts. She said: ‘He can’t work out while I’m awake because I’ll stop him. Seeing your husband get fit while you’ve got your post-baby body, I’m like, “F*** you, take a day off!”’
