It’s not easy to be Ab-bare Clancy

ABBEY may not seem the retiring type, but she says naked photo shoots still send her into a spin.
‘Doing nudes is always challenging, especially when you’re with 25 male assistants,’ she told GP TV. ‘You just want to create a piece of art. You have to trust the stylist, the photographer and the creative director to know what they’re doing.’
Abbey first came to viewers’ attention in 2006 when she was a contestant on the second series of BNTM, finishing as runner-up.
She offers a masterclass to this year’s wannabes in this exclusive snap from her recent shoot for Hunger magazine. The Liverpudlian turns up the heat in a fur jacket and panties in the image, taken by photographer Rankin for the mag’s 12th issue.
■ WANT to know Abbey’s beauty ssssecrets? Rattling through her list of dos and don’ts, the Scouse stunner isn’t afraid to experiment with treatments if they’ll maintain her looks. ‘I have used snake venom — it was good!’ she revealed. ‘No sheep sperm, though.’ Ewe indeed… On the other end of the scale(s), Abbey said ‘sleep and water is best for me and lots of moisturiser’ not to mention science-based skincare brand SkinCeuticals which ‘is expensive but it lasts and you only need a tiny drop’.
