I’m no Charlie (Hunnam) when it comes to beating the bottle, says Ben Affleck

BEN AFFLECK found a pal to lean on in co-star Charlie Hunnam as he opened up on his battle with the bottle.
After posing with the Sons Of Anarchy star, 38, at the premiere of their Netflix film Triple Frontier, Affleck, 46, said: ‘It doesn’t really bother me to talk about alcoholism and being an alcoholic.
‘It’s part of my life. It’s something that I deal with. It doesn’t have to subsume my whole identity but it is something you have to work at.’
Meanwhile, he also explained why he quit as director of a new Caped Crusader flick — handing over to Matt Reeves, who will steer The Batman out in 2021. ‘I tried to direct a version of it and worked with a really good screenwriter… but I just couldn’t crack it,’ he said.
