KYLIE MINOGUE has not finished spinning around in her gold hotpants… yet!

The Aussie pop princess, who turns 49 next month, doesn’t feel compelled to cover up just because she’s getting older.

‘I wouldn’t like to feel I have to dress, act or look a certain way that is age-defined,’ she stressed. ‘It’s tricky, because what your brain is telling you your age is, is perhaps different to the age you are, or the age people perceive you to be.’

But Kylie thinks fans are more ‘open-minded’ about age. ‘Twenty years ago, 40 was considered ancient. Now it isn’t,’ she said.

The star, who called off her engagement to toyboy lover Joshua Sasse, 29, earlier this year, also revealed she likes to blow off steam at home as it’s ‘safe’ and away from prying eyes.
