I’d like to make my Marky Mark on music again, says Wahlberg

MARK WAHLBERG looks set to resurrect the boxers-baring baggy jeans and backward-facing baseball cap after hinting at a chart comeback.
The Hollywood actor may be delivering Good Vibrations all over again after teasing a return to the recording studio.
Now starring in the Transformers films, he rose to fame in boy band New Kids On The Block and then hip hop outfit Marky Mark And The Funky Bunch before waving goodbye to his pop career in the 1990s.
Mark seems to be exploring a collaboration with DJ Khaled. The producer has already scored hits with the likes of Justin Bieber, Beyoncé and Rihanna, and is No.1 in the US with his album Grateful.
‘I’ve spoken to DJ Khaled a couple of times,’ the 46-year-old confirmed. ‘We’re working on some other things…’
Earlier this year, Mark’s brother and NKOTB bandmate Donnie admitted he wants his little bro to join the reformed group. ‘We are having a lot of fun and, yeah, I would love to see Mark perform with New Kids,’ said Donnie, 47, who is joined in the band by siblings Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre and Danny Wood.
However, he would settle for seeing the double Oscar nominee perform solo ‘as Marky Mark just one more time’, said Donnie.
He added: ‘It would be a lot of fun and he’s got some hidden talents.’
It looks like fans are going to be Hangin’ Tough until Mark actually releases a single…
Meanwhile, he revealed he would also like to turn back the clock in technology. ‘I would like to see my kids on the iPads less and interacting more directly with other people,’ he said.
