Holly Willoughby Holly’s boozy holiday boo-boo
NOT content with spending every working minute together on the This Morning sofa, it seems fun-loving presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield have also been having a high old time on holiday.
In a Snapchat video apparently filmed by Phillip, the pair can be seen having fun in foreign climes alongside The Chase’s Bradley Walsh and Dragons’ Den star Peter Jones.
The group are all clearly getting decidedly merry with a board of shots placed prominently in the foreground — until, that is, Holly makes a boozy boo-boo.
Poor Hols tries to slide the drinks across the table, but manages to send them flying instead — and Phillip is none to happy about it.
‘Holly bloody sodding Willoughby, spilled the whole… God damn,’ he can be heard exclaiming as Holly runs around apologising.
News of the presenters’ holiday high jinks will come as a welcome update for fans who are missing their presence on the ITV show, where husband and wife team Eammon Holmes and Ruth Langsford are holding the fort.
One Phil fan tweeted bluntly: ‘I don’t like This Morning without Phillip Schofield.’
But they won’t have too long to wait as Phil took a break from sunning himself to reply simply: ‘Sept 4th’.
Elsewhere in daytime telly Land, Richard Madeley has been garnering praise for his ‘relaxed’ approach to presenting Good Morning Britain while regular host Piers Morgan is away.
‘So lovely to have a much calmer voice this week instead of Jeremy Kyle constantly shouting — your [sic] a joy!’ wrote one fan.
Meanwhile, Richard couldn’t resist teasing Piers, by saying his cover stint was ‘an excellent opportunity to gather some inside information… which I will unhesitatingly use to wind him up afterwards’.
