Holly Willoughby gets the jitters over I’m A Celeb critters

HOLLY WILLOUGHBY has been roundly mocked by her new co-host Declan Donnelly after squealing her way through a Bushtucker Trial-style challenge.
The squeamish This Morning presenter was presenting her last show for a while with Phillip Schofield today, before jetting off to Down Under to join Dec in hosting I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!
But Schofield and co couldn’t let her go without seeing if she was up to the challenge she’s about to dish out to others.
Presented with three mystery boxes, which she had to rummage about in, Holly laughed nervously, saying: ‘I don’t think I can do this, honestly, I think I’m going to cry.

‘I actually don’t know how the celebrities do this, I’m a little bit worried standing behind these boxes.’
Feeling the fear, kindly Holly also said she wouldn’t be piling the pressure on this year’s contestants.
‘I’m going to tell them, “You don’t have to do this, they won’t starve you, they don’t let you die, it’s a telly show, don’t feel the pressure.”‘
To which Schofield piped up: ‘On behalf of the production team, they will say, “Please don’t do that.”’
Putting her hand in the first box, she screeched as a remote-controlled spider moved beneath her hands.
‘Oh God, I don’t like it, I don’t like it,’ she said, before finding out it was a toy and adding: ‘I’ve got such a sweat on.’
She found the second box just as bad — imagining it was full of rats, when in fact it was three kittens inside.

And the third box left her equally stumped after the team got last year’s I’m A Celeb winner Georgia Toffolo to crouch down so Holly could feel her head.

After the task, Phillip made it up to her with a box of very British treats, including Marmite, crumpets and Jammie Dodgers.
But her new co-host Dec — who usually presents the reality show with long-time partner Ant McPartlin, who stepped away from TV commitments after a drink-driving conviction earlier this year — was less kind, mocking Holly on Twitter.
‘Just watched @Schofe put @hollywills through a #BushtuckerTrial on @thismorning,’ he wrote. ‘She was worse than Gillian McKeith! What the heck are we in for!? #ImACeleb.’

The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes will stand in for Holly while she’s off experienceing the joys of the jungle, and Holly reassured her legions of loyal followers: ‘I’ll be back soon. It won’t be long.’
