Holly hit by a Havers charm offensive

NIGEL HAVERS flirted up a storm with Holly Willoughby this morning — leaving her couch co-host Phillip Schofield as a bit of a third wheel.
The Benidorm star played up to his charming con man persona by turning the tables on Holly and getting her to sit in the This Morning guest spot while he asked the questions.
Not content with that, he asked what she was doing later and whether she fancied ‘a spot of lunch’.
Phillip had to rein him in, saying: ‘Are you chatting her up? You can’t chat up the guests! It’s unacceptable, you smoothy.’
But it all seemed to be meant in good fun as Nigel proceeded to reveal he can often be seen zipping around the capital on a Vespa — that’s when he’s not making like James Bond with his newly acquired speedboat licence.
He also poked fun at himself saying cabbies always recognise him because of his ‘huge honk’.
Despite this dose of self-deprecation, Nigel returned to true flirtatious form as the interview wrapped up, saying to Holly: ‘Any time you want a holiday…’, much to Phillip’s mock-outrage.
Viewers were divided at the spectacle, with one tweeting: ‘Nigel what a legend trying to pick up @hollywills can’t blame him for trying.’
Another was less impressed, writing: ‘Nigel Havers being a bit letchy with Holly. Gag.’
