He’s over Shear! GP finds the elusive Mr Hudson

TEN years ago JAY-Z and Kanye West were topping the charts with Mr Hudson — but then the British songwriter disappeared off the radar.

Now Guilty Pleasures has tracked him down. We found the Supernova musician playing bass for his new housemate Jake Shears at the former Scissor Sisters star’s solo gig at the Scala in north London.

Q and Mobo award winner Mr Hudson, 39 — real name Benjamin — prefers life off the grid at the duo’s home in LA, where he is busy writing songs and producing.

Shears, channelling a circus ringmaster in his leotard, tailcoat and top hat at Wednesday’s gig, said: ‘He’s the best roommate. He calms me down and cooks me delicious dinners.’
