Has Hello singer Adele bid farewell to touring?

ADELE fans are gutted that their heroine has hinted she may never tour again.

The Hello singer, who finishes up her 123-date tour at London’s Wembley stadium this weekend, shared the news in a handwritten note.

‘So this is it after 15 months on the road and 18 months of 25 we are at the end,’ she wrote, before adding that touring ‘doesn’t suit me particularly well’ as she’s a ‘homebody’ who gets ‘so much joy in the small things’.

But it’s not just that she misses normal daily life — it’s also because, ‘I’m dramatic and have a terrible history of touring,’ she admits.

Despite finding touring tough, though, Adele reassured fans that it had been ‘an absolute thrill and pleasure’.

‘I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artist have had on me live,’ she added, before dropping the bombshell…

‘I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home.’

Fans were devastated, with one writing: ‘I’m actually genuinely so gutted,’ while another tweeted, hopefully not seriously: ‘I don’t know if I can go on.’

One confused fan thought Adele had already retired, posting: ‘So gutted. I was supposed to be seeing her Saturday at Wembley.’

But others were more cynical, with one responding to the news of her possible retirement with the tweet: ‘until the money runs out or she wants a free holiday.’

We’re not sure about that assessment as Rumour Has It she’s surely Rolling In The… cash.
