Hammond ‘fine’ after bike smash

TV PRESENTER Richard Hammond assured fans he is ‘fine’ after reports he was knocked unconscious in a motorbike crash while filming The Grand Tour.
In a post on DriveTribe, the social media site he set up with co-stars Jeremy Clarkson and James May, Hammond, 47, said: ‘I’ve checked and I’m not dead. It’s true, I did fall off a motorbike whilst filming recently for The Grand Tour in Mozambique. I banged my head, yes, along with pretty much everything else.’
Hammond (pictured) was in a coma for two weeks in 2006 after a 288mph crash while filming the BBC’s Top Gear. The Grand Tour is on Amazon.
