JAY-Z was urged to run for the White House hours after taking a dig at Donald Trump.

‘Jay for president,’ said rival Kendrick Lamar after winning the best rap album gong.

Jay-Z called the president’s ‘s***hole’ comments about African countries and Haiti ‘hurtful’ in an interview on Saturday. He also shared his views on African-American unemployment levels.

In a Twitter tirade, Mr Trump hit back: ‘Somebody inform Jay-Z that, because of my policies, black unemployment has just been reported to be at the lowest rate ever recorded!’
