Grammys are racist, claims Solange

SOLANGE KNOWLES accused Grammys bosses of racism for snubbing her big sister Beyoncé.
‘There have been two black winners in the last 20 years for album of the year,’ she fumed.
Heavily pregnant Beyoncé lost out to Adele for the album and record of the year gongs.
Solange, 30, urged black artists to ‘create your own committees, build your own institutions, give your friends awards, award yourself, and be the gold you wanna hold’. Her tweets were rapidly deleted — perhaps after someone pointed out that black artists Lauryn Hill, OutKast, Ray Charles and Herbie Hancock have all won the Grammy for album of the year since 1997.
