Golden Globes: Sterling K Brown makes history with This Is Us win

STERLING K BROWN was ‘shocked’ his Golden Globe win made him a ‘trailblazer’.

But as the first black man to be named best actor in a TV series, he hopes to ‘open doors’ to inspire others to chase the Hollywood dream.

Speaking after his win, the This Is Us star said: ‘It’s been 75 years and I was the first. I was shocked. Hopefully, it won’t be another 75 years until someone else does it.’

The dad-of-two, 41, added: ‘Sometimes you have to see something first before you envision it for yourself.’

As for his trophy, he’s going to keep it in his garage.

‘It’s an extended living space. It’s real nice,’ he quickly added.
