Golden Globes: Mimi risks the peril of Meryl Streep in seat mix-up

MARIAH CAREY hit a bum note when she accidentally pinched Meryl Streep’s seat.

Mimi was left red-faced after plonking herself down en route to the toilet at the bash.

Taking to Twitter, she recalled: ‘Got caught up mingling on the way to loo during a commercial break… took the first available seat.

‘Cut to next commercial break, guess who comes back to her seat? Dear Meryl, please forgive me! You can take my seat any time!’

The diva lost out in the best original song category for her track The Star but could at least count on the support of younger lover Bryan Tanaka — literally. The mum-of-two, 47, was pictured playfully leaning on the dancer, 34, at the InStyle after-party.
