THEY say there’s no revenge like living well and Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom wasted no time in trying to prove to each other that all is hunky-dory.
Dressed in workout clobber, Katy showed how ‘coo-coo’ she is when she danced and laughed away the storm over their break-up.
The Chained To The Rhythm singer, 32, posted an Instagram video, writing: ‘Best thing about making this record is that everyone helping me make it is just as coo-coo as I am.’
It was then Bloom’s turn to remind her of what a handsome hunk she has given up. The Pirates Of The Caribbean star, 40, posted what a ‘good time’ he was having in getting suited and booted on a Vanity Fair shoot.
Their respective PR moves came amid a break-up statement that, bizarrely, came only hours after their date at the Oscars.
Pals of the pair later explained the US singer and British actor — who has been busy batting away pictures of him snuggling up to hospitality worker Erin McCabe last week — did an impressive job in making it to 12 months, because their romance just started out as casual fun.
‘It was never supposed to be serious between them,’ explained one friend. ‘When it first started, she was basically like, “This will be fun for now”.’
