Gemma Arterton’s escape was a laugh with Dominic Cooper
GEMMA Arterton says she and Dominic Cooper found a way to laugh off filming ‘prolonged’ rape scenes for new flick The Escape.
The ex-Bond Girl, 32, stars with the Mamma Mia! actor, 40, in the film, but said he made her feel ‘safe’.
‘I know it sounds weird but we’re so comfortable with each other. I didn’t feel exploited. Even though it’s awful to go through and I find it hard to watch those parts.’
She told the Radio Times: ‘Luckily, because we are friends — after doing scenes where he is basically raping me — we could switch off afterwards and try to have a laugh.’
