Game Of Thrones’ Nathalie Emmanuel plans pop career

GAME OF THRONES star Nathalie Emmanuel could fire up a music career when she leaves Westeros behind.
The actress, best known as dragon queen Daenerys’s right-hand woman Missandei, told Guilty Pleasures about her plans in an exclusive chat.
‘It’s definitely something I’d like to do,’ said Nathalie, who previously appeared in The Lion King on London’s West End.
‘I do like singing but haven’t done it in a long time. I’ve had a couple of auditions to play people who sing.’
And how did they go? ‘I didn’t get the part!’
She should pick the brains of on-screen lover Jacob ‘Grey Worm’ Anderson, who has enjoyed chart success as alter-ego Raleigh Ritchie.
As the fantasy drama draws to a close, with its eighth and final series airing next year, Nathalie says she will mark her time with a tattoo.
‘I have thought about an idea for myself [but] I’m going to keep it a secret,’ she teased. ‘I have a couple of tattoo plans, which I’m sure my agent probably isn’t thrilled about.’ The ex-Hollyoaks star also hopes to be given a memento from the world’s most talked-about TV show.
‘There’s a necklace they put on me, which has a dragon wrapped around it, and I’d like that,’ she said.
Nathalie has appeared in the Fast & the Furious franchise since joining GoT in 2013. And, pinching herself, she can’t believe how far she’s come since working in a clothes shop.
‘Game Of Thrones made me visible again,’ she said.
‘It’s definitely a turning point of my career, or lack of career at that point,’ she giggled.
