Fans in tears as pet pines for Carrie Fisher

CARRIE FISHER’S final appearance in Star Wars is a real mutt-see, according to her pet pooch, Gary.

Hearts melted when a picture was posted of the late actress’s beloved French bulldog watching the latest trailer for The Last Jedi, which dropped yesterday.

Gary’s Instagram account was updated with a snap of the dog and a freeze-frame of Fisher making her swansong outing as Princess Leia.

‘Mom looks more beautiful than ever #garymisseshismom #garyloveshismom,’ reads the caption.

Fisher passed away aged 60 in December and will receive a fitting send-off from the franchise.

Co-star John Boyega has previously said the film (out on December 15) bids farewell in a ‘very amazing way’.
