Expect a Stormy start to tonight’s Celebrity Big Brother launch

CELEBRITY Big Brother is set to return to Channel 5 tonight — with adult film star Stormy Daniels and the Duchess of Sussex’s half-sister Samantha Markle rumoured to be among those entering the house.
The contestants for the 22nd series of the reality show will be welcomed by returning presenter Emma Willis during the live launch show from 9pm.
The theme for the new series is Eye of the Storm, which Channel 5 explained means each housemate will have been caught up in their own ‘media storm’.
While Meghan’s sister, 53, is only a CBB maybe, she has barely been out of the media lately with comments teasing a possible appearance.

She is reported to have told Inside Edition: ‘Life is about cashing in. You take opportunities as they arise and hopefully you enjoy the ride and make it as positive as you can.
‘There’s nothing wrong with it. The purpose of that show would not be to discuss her.’
Meanwhile, Stormy Daniels gained notoriety after suing US president Donald Trump following an alleged affair, and kidnapped model Chloe Ayling is also said to have been signed.
Others rumoured to be contestants include Cheers actress Kirstie Alley, Love Island’s Gabby Allen and former Arsenal and Liverpool footballer Jermaine Pennant.
Last month, reports emerged that this latest CBB series might be the last due to falling ratings, but Channel 5 responded saying the show’s future was ‘unchanged’.
Meanwhile, pictures released earlier this week of the revamped house suggest a Mediterranean theme, with tropical prints, cacti, succulents and a brightly coloured, mid-century modern design reminiscent of a Palm Springs desert.
The last series of Celebrity Big Brother was won by Australian drag queen Courtney Act, real name Shane Jenek, at the start of the year.
Another of the show’s former winners Rylan Clark-Neal will return to host spin-off show Bit On The Side.
