Emma Bunton reveals Victoria Beckham ruled out return to Spice Girls after Olympics

EMMA BUNTON says the ship has sailed for Victoria Beckham to join the Spice Girls on tour.
Posh recently said she would feel left out when Baby, Sporty, Ginger and Scary hit the stage without her this summer.
But Emma, 43, ended feverish speculation Posh, 44, would make an appearance at the London shows because ‘we are creating a show second-by-second, song-by-song’ that doesn’t factor Mrs B in.
While fans will be gutted, Emma exclusively told Guilty Pleasures it’s no shock to the group, as Victoria killed off Posh in 2012.
She said: ‘At the Olympics, it felt like that would probably be the last time we were on stage as a five-piece. We completely respect that. She’s been wonderful, very supportive and says she wants to bring Harper to the show.’
Meanwhile, the mum-of-two says her partner of 15 years Jade Jones, 40, wants her to expand their brood.
‘Jade would have many more kids,’ she said. ‘But I am, “Woah, back off!” We love having kids. If we are lucky enough, maybe… but at the moment I am concentrating on the year ahead.’
Emma says motherhood is inspiring her own side project — her first solo record in 12 years, called My Happy Place. It features Robbie Williams, Will Young and a cover of Don’t Call Me Baby by Madison Avenue.
The What Took You So Long singer said: ‘12 years ago, my eldest was born to Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles. Ever since that happened I’ve always wanted to re-record that. It means so much to me. It’s so emotional.’
The singer is making her solo comeback a real family affair as one of her new music videos shows off the ‘behind the scenes’ look of her life.
‘Jade’s in there, my mum and my dogs are in there,’ she teased.
■ My Happy Place is out on April 12.
