Emilia Clarke dreams of a long nap after GoT

EVER wake a sleeping dragon… and that also applies to outgoing Dragon Queen Emilia Clarke.
In an exclusive meet-up with Guilty Pleasures in London, the Game Of Thrones superstar said Hollywood offers will have to wait.
She is planning to catch up on her sleep after wrapping an emotional ending to the hit TV fantasy drama.
The 31-year-old from Berkshire, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, has no game plan at the moment.
‘That’s what I am figuring out just now,’ Emilia said on the subject of her future plans.
‘It’s difficult, people ask me what I will be doing next — I’m like, “I’d like to have a nap, for a little while!”’ However, she admits a decade on GoT has given her ‘a life I never dreamed of’.
And keeping her fans guessing comes after her co-star Kit Harington, aka Jon Snow, warned: ‘I’d like to step away and enjoy the obscurity.’
In between her naps, Emilia is using her global status to support nurses at the NHS — although she didn’t consider nursing as a career.
‘For me, I was an actress through and through from a young person,’ she said, adding that she will pitch in to help where she can, as she takes on a new role as an ambassador for the Royal College of Nursing.
Emilia, who lost her father to cancer two years ago, is calling for extra resources for the NHS staff.
‘It’s something I’ve been wanting to throw light on for a number of years,’ she said.
‘It’s just now, at the end of the show, that I see a chance, I now have a platform that I can actually speak from.’
