Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You overtakes Drake’s One Dance to become UK’s most streamed song

ED SHEERAN’S Shape of You has become the UK’s most streamed song of all time after overtaking Drake’s hit One Dance.
The news comes after it was revealed that the singer-songwriter was the UK’s biggest musician of 2017 so far, according to the Official Charts Company’s quarterly update.
His third album Divide is the biggest selling album of the year.
Hit track Shape of You has had a staggering 184 million streams since it was released in January.
The smash hit also takes the title of the best selling song of the year while Castle On The Hill is a close second.
Sheeran narrowly missed out on a top three after Summer hit Despacito by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber claimed the third spot leaving Galway Girl in fourth.
Just a few months ago Sheeran became the first artist to have every song from his album — 16 — feature inside the Top 20.
But these aren’t Sheeran’s only successes — Sophomore album X (Multiply), released in 2014, is the third biggest selling album of the year behind Rag ‘N’ Bone Man’s debut, Human.
