Ed Sheeran: My new MBE makes me determined to be a flock star

ED SHEERAN didn’t hesitate when he heard he was to receive an MBE.

‘Some people turn them down, they’re just like, “Yeah, so?”’ he explained. ‘But I’m someone that really appreciates it.’

However, Ed still revealed a saucy sense of humour in talking about the honour for his charity work and services to music.

He suggested MBE might stand for ‘Massive B*** End.’ And Ed has seriously baa-rking plans to mark his appearance in the Queen’s birthday honours list last week. ‘Stephen Fry got Freedom of London and it means you can take a herd of sheep over London Bridge,’ he told Capital FM. ‘I’d 100 per cent f***ing do that.’

The 26-year-old lived up to his nice guy billing at Camden’s Koko on Tuesday when he extended his Capital Up Close with Coca-Cola show from 45 minutes to an hour.
