POP siren Charli XCX was left stunned when a fan hurled himself off a roof at an after-party she staged following one of her and Taylor Swift’s Reputation tour gigs.

‘I threw a party in Houston. I throw parties after all the Taylor shows,’ the 1999 singer said. ‘It is very LGBTQ-centric, like super fun. I walked on stage and then, suddenly, I look up and there’s this kid just swinging from the roof above me. Everyone is screaming. He stayed up there for ages.

‘He climbed up into the rafters and was partying up there a bit more and started swinging again. Then he just falls on all these kids and knocks a sign down. It was wild.’

She added: ‘I saw him afterwards in the parking lot and I was like, “You’re crazy”, and he was like, “I just love hardcore! And I love your music!” That was wild.’
