Depp drops agent amid money woes

TROUBLED star Johnny Depp has parted ways with the agent who made him a star because he reportedly can’t afford to pay her commission.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor, who last week got into a legal dispute with his business managers TMG over claims he was living beyond his means, walked away from UTA’s Tracey Jacobs in October, it has emerged.
‘Depp told Jacobs and UTA he no longer wanted to pay their commissions,’ a Hollywood insider told Page Six, ‘but they pushed back.’
As a result Johnny made a deal with rival agent CAA, who were reportedly more ‘sensitive’ to his financial situation.
TMG last week claimed that Depp spent $2 million (£1.6m) a month and ‘is fully responsible for any financial turmoil he finds himself in today’.
Perhaps Johnny will be able to restore his fortunes with the latest Pirates Of The Caribbean movie — a trailer for which dropped at last night’s Super Bowl.
