Dannii: No egos landed this time

DANNII MINOGUE says her fellow judges on Let It Shine are ‘teddy bears’ compared with the ‘egos’ she had to cope with on The X Factor.

Relieved she doesn’t have the fierce rivalries she endured with Sharon Osbourne, Cheryl and Simon Cowell, Dannii described her new crew as ‘cool and easy’, adding: ‘No egos. Just chilled.’

The 45-year-old singer exclusively told Guilty Pleasures: ‘Everyone here just wants it to be a positive experience. Not just the judges but for everyone.’

After starting on Aussie TV at the age of seven, Dannii can feel exasperated when wannabes complain. ‘I had a big live show every week and a new routine every week,’ she said.

‘So on shows like X Factor when they go, “I have to learn a new song next week!” It’s like, “Yeah! I’ve done it. If this is what you want to do…”’

She also admits to being a Take That fan, but it wasn’t her new boss Gary Barlow she swooned after. ‘I found Robbie the most fascinating,’ Dannii admitted.
