Crown star Claire Foy hints she could return to throne

THE CROWN star Claire Foy has said she is willing to return to her role as the Queen.

The 33-year-old Golden Globe winner is being replaced by Olivia Colman, 44, in the third series of the hit Netflix show.

But she revealed that she and Matt Smith, who plays the Duke of Edinburgh, had told bosses: ‘If it makes seven series we will come back if you will have us; and by that point we may be old enough to play them again. We have shot so much that they could go through the reams and reams of all the scenes we shot and do a series of flashbacks.’
