Colin Firth gives Kingsman fans a shock
THE first full-length trailer for the sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service has been released — and it saves the biggest revelation till last.
Colin Firth was killed off in the original 2014 movie — yet in the final seconds of this new trailer he appears with a patch over one eye, calmly shaving.
As Mark Strong’s character Merlin puts it, while standing next to a visibly shocked Eggsy, played by Taron Egerton: ‘Oh my god… Harry?’
Needless to say, many fans were beyond excited.
One tweeted: ‘Kingsman Golden Circle ahhh Harry is ALIVE he’s ALIVE!!!!!!’
Another commented: ‘I was born ready for the #kingsman2 trailer. I had high hopes and they didn’t disappoint. That scene, right there, at the end? hello, swoon?’
In the new movie, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore and Halle Berry all join the cast as the British spy service teams up with its US equivalent, the Statesmen.
As one fan tweeted: ‘Can we just forget James Bond and have like 20 Kingsman movies?’
